2024-2025 Rainier Yacht Club Bridge Officers

The Commodore is elected from the active members of the club who have served one term in an elective office therein.  They preside at all regular monthly meetings and appoints all non-elective officers and committees and acts as ex-officio on all committees. The Commodore attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees, and the Planning, Entertainment, Reception committees all report to the Commodore.

The Vice Commodore is elected from the active members of the Club and assists the Commodore in the discharge of his/her duties, and in the event of the Commodore's absence or disability, the Vice shall officiate instead. The Vice Commodore attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees, and the WIC, Yearbook, Tech and Visiting committees report to them.

The Rear Commodore is elected from the active or life members of the Club and assists the Commodore and Vice Commodore in the discharge of their duties, and in the event of their absence or disability shall officiate in their stead.  The Rear attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees, and the House/Grounds/Docks, Bar Manager and Quartermaster committees report to them.

The Fleet Captain is elected from among the active members of the Club, and serves as the Commodore's Executive Officer, responsible for the scheduling of all water events.  The Fleet Captain attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees, and is responsible for the RBAW committee.

The Treasurer receives and disburses all monies of the Club, keeping appropriate records in a form prescribed by the Board of Trustees.  The records are audited annually during the term of office by the Board of Trustees and the Commodore. The Treasurer attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees.

The Secretary keeps the official records of the proceedings of all meetings of the Club, handles Club correspondence, and performs any duties that are essential to proper conduct of the Club and its affairs.  The Secretary attends all meetings of the Board of Trustees.
